AGENDA

Continue with project Parade in Yogyakarta

In December 2022 and January 2023 I will continue working on the project Parade with street vendors who go around neighborhoods in Yogyakarta. By then it will have been three years since my last visit to Yogyakarta. In the meantime I realised a musical composition with the specific sounds of the ambulant vendors in collaboration with composer Sinta Wullur in Amsterdam. The aim in Yogyakarta is to find the vendors, rehearse and prepare a parade with them. I will operate from our home there and at Krack! Studio & Gallery, and am assisted by producer Iteq Fitri Kristiyoarti. The actual performance will take place later in 2023 or 2024.

Preliminary design for public artwork in Alkmaar

Together with two other artists I have been selected to propose a preliminary design for an artwork in public space by the municipality of Alkmaar. One of three proposals for the work at a newly built schoolcampus will be chosen after our presentations on January 16, 2023.
