The very first exhibition of the Curated Weeks at Galerie Waterbolk in Utrecht is a non-stop screening of Jalan (2015-2020) in the front room of the gallery, and can be seen from the street. Next to the film I show three lightboxes with stills. March 1 till 15, 2021.

Street Vendors is part of the online exhibition of Dutch Design Week 2020. The focus on everyday design and spontaneous architecture matches with the scope of Dutch Design Week. October 17 till 25, 2020.

A site specific version of Plastic Age is exhibited at BIG ART No. 5 at Hembrugterrein in Zaandam. VIP opening on September 30. Exhibition October 1 till 4, timeslots available daily from 11 AM until 7 PM.

CBK Zuidoost selected my video Tree feller (Philip) (2020) for the exhibition Unlocked / Reconnected which is held at numerous art spaces in the Netherlands from June 1 on. The work is part of the summer show Zomersalon Royaal in CBK ZO as well, July 2 till August 20, 2020.

From March 5 on I present the solo show Joburg Hawkers at Zuid-Afrikahuis in Amsterdam with various works from my residencies in Johannesburg in 2010 and 2017. Zuid-Afrikahuis is open Mon-Tue-Thu from 10 AM till 4 PM. Summerbreak in July. Until August 20, 2020.

Street Vendors is exhibited at the group show Arte al Centro 2019 at Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto in Biella, Italy, curated by the Colombian artist Juan Sandoval. The Mondriaan Fund International Presentations grant supported my travel and stay. Opening October 13, 2019. The exhtibition was planned to be on till May 31, 2020 but had to close due to covid.

January and February 2020 I develop a new performance with the working title Parade Pedagang Keliling (working title) in collaboration with Teguh Hartanto, partly based at Kedai Kebun Forum in Yogyakarta.

Silakan duduk (Have a seat) & other works is the title of my open studio exhibition at Kedai Kebun Forum in Yogyakarta. Opening January 17, 2020 at 7 pm. I work in the open studio until January 31, opening times: 11 AM till 9 PM, closed on Tuesdays.

Street Vendors and Hounek are part of the group exhibition APLOMB at Sociëteit Vereeniging in Haarlem during Kunstlijn 2019. With Guda Koster, Irene van de Mheen, Dik Box a.o. November 1 until 3 only! Opening Friday at 8 PM, Saturday-Sunday 11 AM - 5 PM.

Street Vendors: Medellín, Tirana, Johannesburg, Yogyakarta is having its Colombian premiere at Paul Bardwell Gallery in Colombo Americano in Medellín. The solo exhibition, curated by Alejandro Vásquez, opens on August 6 and lasts till August 22. Opening times: weekdays 8 AM - 6 PM. August 21 I give an artist talk at La Pascasia. The exhibition is supported by the Mondriaan Fund International Presentations grant.
