Street Vendors: Medellín, Tirana, Johannesburg, Yogyakarta is having the Indonesian premiere at Ruang MES 56 in Yogyakarta. The work is exhibited in the two gallery rooms following a North-South and West-East logic, and is part of the Festival Film Dokumenter 2018. Opening December 12 at 7 PM. Monday till Saturday 12-10 PM. Until January 12, 2019.

After its world premiere in Utrecht Street Vendors: Medellín, Tirana, Johannesburg, Yogyakarta is part of BIG ART Bajes, October 11 till 14, Bijlmerbajes in Amsterdam. Opening times: 11 AM until 7 PM.

My brand new four channel video installation Street Vendors: Medellín, Tirana, Johannesburg, Yogyakarta (2018) is having its world premiere at the 38th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival 2018 in Utrecht. The work is exhibited at the venue JK24 at Janskerkhof no. 24 from September 28 until October 4, 12 PM till 10 PM.

Amsterdam Fund of the Arts kindly supported the PR and production of various 2018 summer exhibitions in Amsterdam - under the umbrella Micro Enterprise - leading to, and including, the World and Amsterdam premieres of the four channel video installation Street Vendors: in September at the Netherlands Film Festival Utrecht and in October at BIG ART Bajes  Amsterdam. Tijl Fonds and Stichting Stokroos supported the presentation and exhibition costs of the installation.

A group exhibition at Vondel CS curated by Ellie Uyttenbroek with outcomes of the residencies at De Torenkamer 2017-2018 in Amsterdam. I was a resident in September 2017. Opening Friday July 6 at 6 PM. Until Sunday July 15.

June 25 is my day in the Big Dutch Art Calendar, de Grote Nederlandse Kunstkalender. My work is presented with Winkel (2016-2018), the Syrian shop I realised at the 2016 edition of ITGWO.

The installation Winkel is on show again during the group show 'Works of Mercy' in CBK Zuidoost in Amsterdam. Opening Thursday April 12 from 5 till 7 PM. The sho lasts until Saturday June 30, 2018. During the finissage that day, from 2 till 4 PM, the Syrian shopkeepers sell products from the work.

In the small solo exhibition Fabrications in Pakhuis De Zwijger, Amsterdam I show 21 photographs from various cities in the world focusing on resourcefullness and ingenuity in public space. Opening May 3 from 5 till 6.30 PM. Until May 31.
