Fountain Public Library (concept)

Proposal commissioned by the Public Libray Amsterdam (OBA)

In 2008-2009 the director of the Public Library (Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam / OBA) in Amsterdam, Hans van Velzen, commissioned me to design a fountain for the square in front of the new central library at Oosterdokseiland. After the research I presented the first outlines in May 2009. Unfortunately the OBA did not get a go from the local government to continue with the project.
